Elevated Work Platform Certificate Program

Only trained & authorized personnel should operate elevating work platforms. It is the employer’s responsibility to give workers proper instruction, ensure operators are competent and provide proof of training. DTI’s customized program ensures your employees are in compliance with all the current Ontario Ministry of Labour Guideline.

Scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other elevating work platforms — self-propelled or push-around — can present major hazards when they are not selected, used, inspected, or maintained properly. This program covers different types of platforms and their applications.
