Section 25 (2)-A Must provide instruction and supervision and (2)-h- take every reasonable precaution to ensure the health and safety of workers

Section 26 (1) - L Must carry out training programs for workers, supervisors and committee members as prescribed.

Penalties

  • Employer Fines up to $500,000
  • Supervisor Fines up to $25,000 per offence
  • Jail sentences up to 2 years.

Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act Everyone from the persons handling paperwork to truck drivers must be trained and certified every 3 years.
