Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
This blended course consists of in-class instruction workshop, with testing and evaluation covering the 2015 OHSA & GHS WHMIS requirements including:
WHMIS legislation and all definitions and identification of workplace hazards. It covers in detail Occupational Health, Information Delivery (MSDS & SDS) and Control Hazards and the new 2015 GHS requirements.
DTI conducts WHMIS classes regularly at our training centre. We also conduct on-site classes at your place of business. We can conduct hazardous material audits and arrange a combination WHMIS and TDG driver training program customized for your company’s needs.
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
Many companies are unaware of their responsibilities with respect to the transport of hazardous materials. As a natural compliment to our WHMIS training, TDG follows the strict guidelines of the Provincial Ministry of Labour, Transport Canada and Environment Canada.
DTI conducts TDG classes regularly at our training centre. We also conduct on-site classes at your place of business. We can conduct hazardous material audits and arrange a combination WHMIS and TDG driver training program customized for your company’s needs.
The DTI Transportation of Dangerous Goods course consists of in-class instruction workshop, with testing and evaluation covering Legislation, Documentation, Classification of Hazards, Safety Marks and Dangerous Occurrences.
